BRZ Spoiler on FR-S
I'm planning to purchase a spoiler for my FR-S from subaruonlineparts.com
Has anyone in Canada also purchased one from there? Did you have to pay lots of brokerage fees, etc.? Also, where do you guys suggest I get it installed? I probably don't want to do it myself. Scion dealership? Subaru dealership? Or just a body shop? Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!! |

Try to contact a few local Subaru dealership and check if they can order it for you from Subaru Canada instead.

They don't sell Galaxy Blue Silica in Canada though. I have the Ultramarine.

Try this site might give you a rough idea. Was going to order but then I didn't.

Have you thought about trading trunks with a BRZ guy/gal?

That's a good idea, however, your part numbers would be off, and there are only 3 colours in NA that overlap between the BRZ and FR-S.

What does part numbers have to do with trading a trunk?
What do you mean NA, Overlap? I swapped mine (04 STi) with an 02 WRX (Low Wing) and then with an 07 Impreza (No Wing). The colors that are the same for FRS/BRZ are as follows: White Gray Black Red Blue - Galaxy/Aqua Silver They even carry the same paint codes. The odd colors Orange/WRB aren't available in both models, yet. I'm interested in swapping with a FRS or BRZ Premium to get the no wing trunk now. |

Trunk swapping with the Imprezas was a lot easier, as those cars are a dime a dozen. It can be a little more difficult with the limited amounts of the FRS/BRZ's here.

Yeah, especially when they don't sell the Galaxy Blue Silica in Canada (I have the Ultramarine). I guess I'll take my chances and buy it. I'll probably get it installed at Velocity. I've read a couple good things about them on RFD.

I was more saying if you have tracking numbers on your parts (like GlobalI) they'd be out of whack for the two parts that get swapped. Other than that, I'd be glad to do a swap and get a spoiler out of it.
