I tried them, back to back to Yokos A052, and I tried those same yokos back to back to some Nittos NT01 that I use as reference. The nankang were slower, by about 1 full second to the yokos, more or less on par with the nitto. The feeling, on the other hand, was attrocious. No feedback what so ever on turn-in, the tire feels like it does a mixture of folding the sidewall plus sliding at the same time and its just like driving on jello. Grip is good, feeling is not. Also, very heavy tires. Yokos are 21lbs and nakangs are 27lbs in the same width (with yoko being taller, so its even worse).

Quick video of a practice day on the nankangs before a time trial day. Fastest time on the nankangs (that had 2 heat cycles and about 20 minutes of track usage) was about 1 second slower to yokos A052 with 12 heat cycles and that were almost bald.

im on Yoko AD08R and love the tire but they’re expensive. I may just stick to those. As they say if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Just the weight of the Nankang alone is a sale killer

Nankang also sponsors one of their series. As they say, "don't bite the hand that feeds you."
