Clearance for 18x9 or 9.5

I know there’s a ton of threads on clearance but I had a question about this bracket. When I installed my toe arms I came to find how much of a pain in the ass the brackets are that guide the e brake. If I put bigger and wider wheels on will it hit this bracket? Also do most people keep the bracket or just toss it?

Thanks

Most people just bend it to fit.
