Better yet just contact @DeliciousTuning for their Ace v6.8+ tune and feel for yourself.

Besides the ridiculously cooler intake temps, we no longer need an oil cooler as oil and water doesn't get above 110*C. This is not recommended, but that was a main design requirement.

For a $200 part, we're not going to spend thousands for dyno time.
This item would compliment the OEM WRX oil cooler quite well then?

I am thinking about going with the Delicious Tuning flex kit actually

If you're not running turbo/supercharger I don't think it'll do anything for you. The engine can only take in so much air unless you're cramming more air into it.

Not really! Greedy scoop is ramming cold air in the air box where the filter is NOT the intake manifold. At best you have a slightly pressurized air box so to be considered a ram air you will either have to travel with 200+ km/h (not even then because you will have to pass the filter and the angle in the intake pipe) or go straight pipe into to the throttle body. Even then, to get the benefits of it, will need a high speed to get the air ram/air pressure charge effect into the intake manifold. Depending on the design though. My 2 cents.

Hope this helps.

It is better to optimize current setup including powertrain and suspension setup to improve efficiency.

Finally got my Ace 4-2-1 a350 installed with a delicious tune. With a drop-in filter and stock everything else, car gained 8 peak hp. The torque dip is gone, but I would be lying if I say I wasn't hoping for more.

Something doesn't sound right about this.

Please send us or CSG an email and we'll see if we can figure this out.

Was that compared to stock tune/header or did you already have tune/header from different vendor ??

It was compared to everything stock. Stock dynoed 162, with drop-in filter, ace header and delicious tune, it made 170. The shop I'm working with is waiting to hear back from Delicious.

Ill be the one to ask the stupid but obvious question. Was the car run before and after on the same dyno? Was it in the same day or week month year?

The numbers either way do seem very low considering either way.

Same day, same dyno. First run around 8am, then installed the header/tune, and dynoed again in the afternoon.

Dang, I'd be extremely upset about that one. That's a difference of a dyno strap being done differently between runs, and definitely not worth the money invested.

I'm sure something is off, hopefully you figure it out!
