There's still a good couple inches of clearance, and since the LCA doesn't move independently from the knuckle or strut that clearance won't change significantly through the bump travel range of motion.

so long as the user is self policing in ensuring that the wheel doesn't rub against the body under full compression then this is a very good approach for a coilover


but from what I understand a double threaded body like that that is also strong and corrosion resistant is $$$.. hence why we don't see too much of it


also since it's 100% tunable there is no dummy switch in there to stop idiots from going too low and then slicing their tires during a corner.

The problem with the 86 is the rear suspension travel.
