The day I brought back the 86 from the dealership.
Plus some pictures from the next day.

Put the car on jack stand (and wood) and started on the full detail: July 13-15, 2017

Also installed WeatherTech floormats and the door cup and edge film while the paint was clean.

Installed LED dome light from K-Mart.

Plasti Dipped the front and rear emblems.

Installed LED license plate bulbs.

These bulbs are not the brightest, maybe even on the dimmer side. They are dimmer than the LEDs that Phillips makes. But, I like it.

Installed DD's SmartTap Flasher Reply that replaces the factory one.

I got it mainly for the one tap feature for lane changes. The other features are bonuses. Getting the factory reply out was a real struggle but I managed with a flat head from the back. The departure lights works but the arrival lights do not. At the time of installation, I e-mailed them and Diode Dynamics knows that arrival light feature does not work on 2017 cars. Kinda bummed. It would be so cool if it worked. Not sure if they came out with a fix...

Sometime in August and before the road trip to Canada I got my windows tinted at Winner's Window Tint in Rockville.

I should have gone with a darker tint. There was just a big jump from legal to illegal percentage.

Went on a road trip to Quebec to meet family.

The car drove great. The only discomfort I felt was with my shoulders. Due to the bolsters, my shoulders got sore from not being able to lay flat. But, this only happened after like 6 hours of straight driving. Really not that bad. Caught a whole bunch of bugs on my front bumper and sap juice on the car from parking under a sap soaked tree in Canada. I don't have much phone pictures because my canoe of two other friends capsized at Black Hill and my HTC got toasted a week before.

Installed RaceComp's Yellow Springs for the 86.

I didn't measure how much exactly it dropped but in the end it looks so so so much better. I fell in love with the car all over again. Regarding ride quality, I can't tell you the difference...I kinda feel rides a tiny tiny bit stiffer? Or is it just my imagination? After the springs are put on, you can visually see the increased camber in rear. Not that big of a deal to me though. May need LCA later down the road. Really want wheels though. Honestly, this is the best thing that happened to the 86 this far.
