Perhaps I'm late to the party but I'd like to contribute. I'm running 17x8 TC105X in the front and 17x9 TC105X in the rear with 2017 BRZ with stock PP Brembos. They fit fine on my car without spacers.

I measured the clearance. potential points of interference: it's about 0.2 inches (5mm) from the barrel of the wheel to the front of the caliper, and 0.2 inches from the spokes near the center to the back edge of the rotor.

That's awesome data, thanks!
Are you saying that the distance between the face/side of the caliper and the spokes is even more than 5 mm? The stock wheels have at most 3 mm there IIRC.

you're welcome. i was puzzled that someone else said these wheels might require a spacer, because

there is more clearance than the stock wheels. what i'm measuring with the tool in the pic is the closest point between the spokes and the caliper. i just eyeballed the distance between the barrel and the caliper. i would definitely keep the wheel weights away from this area to be safe.
this thread is great, glad to contribute.

edit: i didn't fully answer your question. yes, the distance between the back of the spokes and the caliper surface with the printed words is more than 5mm. i didn't yet measure because i was concerned with the closest points but i would be glad to later.

edit 2: fwiw the clearance from the "brembo" face of the caliper to the back of the spoke is c. 0.2" towards the inner, increasing to 0.4" as the spoke goes outwards.

I believe some STI Brembos are the same size, but not all.
Please check the whole thread for the earlier posts by other people on this topic.

Does anyone know if the New STi BBS ZD8 18x7.5J +45 will fit? Or would you need 3mm or 5mm spacers?

Fast Wheels FC04, 17x8" ET35 fit with LOTS of room both around the barrel and to the spokes. 7mm is the closest they are to the front calipers where the spokes curve inwards near the hub.

They're also perfectly flush in the front and just slightly tucked in the rear on stock suspension and alignment with Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus 225/45R-17's. Oh, and they're just over 17 pounds per wheel.

Here's a link to my Member Journal post - https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...8&postcount=27

...and a couple of pics for those who don't want to read the whole post:

Thanks, added!

It's a bit hard to see on the photo what is the distance between the spokes and front calipers.
Can you take one from the top of the wheel facing down-ish?
Or maybe just describe in words how many mm's do you think there is between the caliper and the spokes at the tightest spot.

just came cross this one, are the stoptechs the same size as the brembos?

If yes:

HRE C106 18 x 9 +35
"We are running Koni single adjustable shocks, so this fitment is good for stock style strut perches. Our camber plates include OE crash bolts which are set to full negative camber. So they are set to the least amount of tire to perch clearance.
- Front camber is -2.8°
