That’s the eerie thing about an EV or Hybrid. They are so quiet, and for me, they don’t feel fun to drive. As a commuter car I could be ok with it, but not for a sports car.

Got her ready for track. Dropped the oil, changed rotors pads and tires.

Yeah true. I've been thinking about raising it up soon so I eliminate the risk of damaging anything. Thanks for the advice man I appreciate it

Turbo S, such a stupid naming convention.
Oh, I see the aftermarket has had it covered for several years -

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised! And no hassle of sanding and painting the OEM badges.

Exactly. Like @JesseG said, with all the changes that have to be made to the BRZ to accommodate the battery and all that, it will take away all the things that make the BRZ great in the first place. Of course switching an engine for a battery will completely change any car but you know what I mean lol Im not against the whole electric car movement, but the BRZ is fine the way it is in my opinion. Interested in seeing more sports cars similar to the FRS with an electric powerhouse though.

My exhaust is stock and I can barely hear it lol I might just be deaf, but I guess we kinda have an idea of what it’d be like haha Anyways, that’s something that would bother me. I’ve heard little whines in hybrid cars, but I need an exhaust note or something. Doesn’t have to be stupid loud, but I need to know I’m driving a car, not one of those electric car things you get for your kid to ride around in.

Really good points, an all electric 86 would almost need to be a from the ground up new car, new chassis. I dont see Toyota or Subaru doing that. Now a hybrid 86 could be really cool, but keeping weight down and the same handling characteristics would be difficult.
