yea that one too.. seems to be the genral consensus on CAIs

I have a K&N filter in mine right now, but as I essentially got this intake as a present (so for free), it seems like there's really no downside to putting it on. I'm also getting the car tuned in about a month so that's probably important to mention.

I think it is just a matter of people hearing something once and believing it as gospel truth.

Less power can be more reliable. Forced induction to make power, naturally aspirated to make a point.
