They do a lot of engine swaps I can see them doing a 6 cylinder swap or something. Turbo and Superchargers are over done, they will be just like every other channel that did a turbo or SC kit, they even made fun of those channels so I don't see them doing Forced Induction.

Hopefully they do something interesting

Type "coyoda frs" in to the google search bar. First link is to a thread on this forum. That link is followed by others with more info.

Obviously, I know about the thread on the forum. It doesn't seem to have a single link to the manufacturer website or really anything other than some pics of the kit installed on one guy's car.

I am really trying to find the Coyoda website with details on pricing and ordering the kit. Maybe they don't have one.

It seems like this is a very small company and the kit is still in preproduction.

It looks like the kit may have died before making it to production. I can't find anything from Coyoda or Turbo Yoda regarding the kit post 2016. It's an amazing design, though. I'm certain from looking at the design it would have significantly less lag than any other turbo kit on the market.

Which links are you talking about? The carthrottle link provides no info at all. The facebook page just has a few very basic posts. Of course I tried to google before I posted this question. There is basically no info about this kit online.

There is a ton of info on the FB page. Multiple kits look to have been developed and sold. The Facebook page from "turbo yoda" in the original comment suggesting to search "coyoda frs" leads right to their site with a link.

it is an amazingly well packaged design, thought out by someone who truly understands how a turbocharger works (Mechanically AND thermally). If they can bring it to market it would be the best turbo kit for the platform, period.

I've had the chance to track a few 400-500whp cars and sure it's fun powering out of corners and accelerating down the straight, but it's equally fun to me chucking a lightweight car into corners or carving up back roads in a small chassis.

Who knows maybe this is their grand epiphany in the final episode (or not), but regardless there's such a misplaced emphasis on horsepower and 60/quarter mile times these days you'd think the only fun you could have in a car is flooring it in a straight line.
Well when you are in a city with a lot of other people, your daily driving thrills come in 1/8th mile increments if you are lucky, and not a lot of that is particularly curvy/fast.

Yeah it's just different cars for different roads. I can appreciate a Hellcat or Demon if you only lived where roads were straight or you visited the drag strip often.

Conversely I could appreciate a Miata or Lotus Exige if you lived close to a lot of windy roads or routinely visited the track.

Or a jeep wrangler if you had good off-road trails nearby.

Or a GSXR-1000 or etc.

I would hope any car journalist/enthusiast could find things to appreciate about any vehicle that was built with fun in mind, as opposed to just harping on things they're bad at. But maybe that's expecting too much, I dunno.
