Scored a barely-used Invidia Q300 catback from a local kid and bolted it up. MAN this thing sounds like a proper car now! I have some fiddling to do with the band clamp to the muffler to eliminate a pinhole leak, but otherwise I'm quite pleased, for the price. I was gonna wait for a Fujitsubo, but for half the price and it was right up the road from me... This'll do for now.

Update: It wasn't the band clamp at fault, apparently I hadn't seated the muffler/midpipe junction all the way. When I loosened the clamp and gave the muffler a wiggle, it went thunk and seated in another half inch, maybe. Car sounds much mo betta, now.

Today I installed an AFE Takeda Intake on my car and rescaled the MAF sensor to the table that Wayno had made! It sounds and feels great! The throttle has a bit more grab to it and seems free-er revving

I just got my 2018 86 a couple of days ago. Took my first photos of it today!

This will be my first car I'd work on so also been ordering a bunch of tools online. Can't wait!

Looks awesome. I am surprised it retained the sound tube. What is the white thingy with red stripes in front of your battery? AOS?

It’s an oil catch can! Not sure what brand it is since there’s no name on it, but it was on it when I bought the car haha

More Yesterday.
Autocross all day, then attended a twin meet I helped organize.

Saw my first Lexus bumper swap. Needs some finessing to dial it in.

Ain't for me but I assume he did it to be "different", We actually have a lot of twins running around locally.
