Maybe a small slide on spacer would do the trick

From the PP Brembo thread: a 3mm spacer might be enough

Ordered as set of Hypergrams in 17x9 et40 5x100 with Bridgestone RE71R in 245/40 for autox next year.

Took some pictures on my Performance Package Brembos for other folks to have a better idea how these look.
As you can see, there's plenty of clearance even if you turn the bleeder cap the wrong way

Not my car, but I did have aluminum hubcentric ring in my aftermarket wheels.

Recently purchased some 17x9 +40 Hypergrams in gunmetal for my BRZ. Had them wrapped in Yokohama Advan A052 235/40/17s. I'm running stock dampers lowered 1" on Eibach springs. Heads up I needed 3mm spacers to clear the spring perch. Also with the meatier tires, on track I consistently knocked out my side markers.

Hat tip to @ATL BRZ for the tip on the 3mm spacers, I would've been a sad panda without them

Also as noted by @jflogerzi, the 17x9s easily clear BBKs. I'm running the Stoptech C43 kit on mine and have plenty of clearance.

Awesome info man, thanks! Did you have to run the 3mm spacer with the 235/40's as well? Besides the springs anything else? How much camber are you running? Any camber bolts?

No problem! I do not have to run any spacers on the 235/40/18s on my 18x8 +35 Enkei NT03s (I've kept those wheels to be my "street" setup). I haven't had the Hypergrams wrapped in anything other than the 245/40/17 Advans. I am running "crash bolts" which give me about -1° up front, but otherwise using stock top hats.

I do plan on upgrading eventually to a decent set of coilovers as after ~7 years of tracking the car, the stock dampers have taken a beating and it would be nice to get more camber and to not have to run the 3mm spacers for these wheels.
