In the trial by water if the accused sank, they weren't a witch. So obviously the witch will float and will be lighter than both the ton of feathers and the ton of coal.

I was wondering how many answers would come out.
In this country feathers were 2000lb and coal were measured in a long ton or 2200lb. It was left over from the railroad days for what fell off of the rail cars.
I was not expecting mixed terms from different countries, in Britain would not the coal also be in the British ton?
It is as good an answer as mine.

Learned something new today, I can shut my brain off now. Always wondered what a long ton was, just never bothered to look it up.

In other news. People have been breaking into the garage and house at my recently abandoned rental. Also dumping trash there. I am busting out two of my trail cams, going to mount one out in the open, and another one hidden pointing at it. Pretty sure it is the dude across the street. We will see what we get.

Now who in the hell told you that! Some old disgruntled coal miner from Kentucky, bitching about his pay?

I am sure I can. My mom will just end up adopting them though where they will live in luxury. Pretty sure her dog now eats better then most people. Typical night is dry food mixed with rice and steamed vegetable with some salmon.

i was told once that's a big hint that you are either not visiting her enough, or she's waiting for grandbabies. likely both.
