You make a kit car of a 100k+ exotic not a car that you could have picked up at the dealership for 20k or found in a junkyard and salvaged for that much. The supra was a mass produced sports car not something out of the ordinary. Don't get me wrong i love the car and what it is capable of but its not something that isn't out of reach just out of practicality.

FYI, MkIV Supra in Japan is been crushing to scrap metal as we speak. I saw a ton of Supra, Evo, Skyline, & other older sports cars been waiting to be crushed @ junk yard when I went back to Japan.

The Supra was probably mass produced by Today's exotic car standards, but it is hardly common, and IMHO it was at least 10 years ahead of it's time. It really is something special, but Supras can still be had today at a reasonable price. Perhaps 20 years into it, when you pretty much can't buy one anymore for less that 100G (and unmolested TT examples probably will get there) because time has taken it's toll on the rest, maybe then. For now, there has to be at least 5000 TT models floating around still. |

Nah, they were waiting to be bought for ~$500 to ~$2000 and then exported to Canada where they are sold for ~$8000 (NA) to ~$18000 (TT).

I heard it's expen$ive to crush a car in Japan. That's where the 100 yen cars come from.

Expensive for a person to ask junk yard to crush the car... but for junk yard, it's different. |

I just bought a 120k mile Built Auto, Single Turbo MKIV with 3k miles on the built motor and 7k on the built tranny; in VERY good condition. For $17k. Sure, it has a Rebuilt title (No frame damage), but so what? It's cheap and is putting about 500hp to the wheels.
For comparison, a High-Spec FT86 will cost ~$10k more. No kit car Supras please. You will ruin it's mysticism.

MKIV Supra Owners Roll Call
I notice a lot of MKIV Supras in signatures here. Just wondering who the owners are on here.
