A lot of different built short block options. Most likely as cheap or cheaper to buy a “pre” built block like this as apposed to buying components and paying an engine shop to build. Cheaper if you can build yourself.
But the one you linked is a wrx FA20, need to find a brz/86 built FA20 |

Engine swaps are a pricy pain in the ass that almost never turn out right and end up costing double what you thought. Stick to the built FA20. Decide what your end goals are, how you want to make power and have it delivered etc.. a lot of people are finding keeping stock compression has a lot of advantages, you can get a thick steel gasket for a slight drop if you like down to say 12.2CR. Without having to go all the way down to say 10.5CR, and then need way more boost to make same power, thus increasing turbo lag and other issues. Do you just want the highest peak number? Or the meatiest power band? As little turbo lag as feasible? What ones are most important or compromise-able Then depending on power you got to factor in transmission at least a clutch for sure and then possibly driveshaft and axles depending on power and car use. |

You seem mad "Keyboard testosterone" LOL, do read what you post I care not about your health or anything else about you I'm on your parents side about the car Who put you through school? Who feed you? Who housed you? Was it your parents? Who insures the car? You stated they paid for the car so you could get to work, now your upset they want you to pay your way, LOL, nice If you're so successful, pay off the car From your post about wanting to build an engine, for a car you don't actually own, it seems silly and immature, you reply to me also seemed immature, to the point of a threat? LOL, nice, are you 15 years old? My post was to hold of the build till you have paid off the car, you sound like a kid who could do with some real advice, not someone to stroke your cock Your parents holding the car back from you could be them trying to teach you about finances Enjoy life, and good luck to you "brodude"

Why not just drive it until something breaks(maybe engine) and then buy replacement parts from the wreckers.
These cars are now very common and wreckers have an abundance of parts that they need to sell. |

Lol talk about an over reaction. Someone late for nap time?
Chill out a bit. It's the internet, you would think this is understood by now. And lol I love these kids that all think their life is the hardest life around. Good luck with the build ![]() Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
