I'm looking for magic, Andrew--magic.

Do something snazzy with the airbag cover. Look at it! I hate that thing!

@Gen Magic? Maybe an illusion..

I still think it would be awesome if it was only changed from SRS Airbag to FRS Airbag. Would have a very subtle and classy feel to it.

Cheers
Andrew

This may be a dumb questions, but what is the difference between bonded and non-bonded. Does that mean if it has the adhesive already on the material or not?

I'd love to purchase this but wouldn't be able to ship the part out / visit you guys.

Bonded means Andrew puts on some heels, leather, and a whip...

They make the two pieces a single, larger piece rather than two separate ones. I'm sure you could purchase the OEM part from them if you were averse to shipping.

I know some people are waiting for pics, so as soon as I can get my hands on a decent camera, I'll throw some up. Cell phone doesn't do it justice.

And for good measure:

There is no automation in the production and assembly of our items, and very limited automation in the cutting of the material. We try to produce all of our items in small batches, especially the BRZ/FR-S items in order to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. The reason there is a fee for special orders is because it significantly slows down our overall production and prevents us from batching the special order with existing products as well as having to change out the thread on the machines or to cut out a different material. However, as orders become larger and more custom/specially configured products are included, the fee is not necessarily applied to each individual item or any of the items, as the machines have already been reconfigured for the new thread color or new material choice, and a batch of special items can be produced together. I hope this helps you to better understand and is helpful to you and anyone else who may be interested in pursuing customized or special order items in the future.
Almost exactly what I expected. You do a very custom thing so I figured no mass production style stuff. And of course the quality of work is a large portion of the cost.

I'll still be wishing for these parts to drop a bit, and maybe, just maybe, I'll get over my thriftiness and order some up!
