I wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with the 17x10 wheels he runs.

I have MCS Suspension, so rear bump travel is quite extensive compared to any other OTS shock.

Could have sworn looking at rear end it is a touch lower but I did not measure to get definitive answer. I have photos from initial install of B6 on yellows with OEM wheels. Looks close from the photos.

It seems to be that the ones reporting a change in ride height are running stock or lowering springs.
I don't think I seen anyone running much higher than stock rear spring rates report a change or maybe they never noticed lol I will be taking measurements before and after hopefully there is no change

FWIW, I had no ride height change when I initially installed the V1 MCA Traction Mod on my stock Performance Pack suspension.
Can't comment on any change with lowering springs, because I installed my H&R springs (on stock dampers) after the Traction Mod was already installed, and same with my RCE SS1 coilovers.

I've had mine installed enough to leave some impressions on the street.
Rear end feels a bit more sophisticated, less bothered by bumps. I tested on throttle grip mid corner on familiar bumps with my regular commute and noticed the car doesn't bounce around when I try to get the rear to break free. This morning I got the Conti's to break free and the rear just squats and is less dramatic. Previously rear end would react more to the bump which could upset the rear suspension requiring quicker snap of counter steer. |
