TRD Lateral Link Set
Hello.
Just wondering what everyone's opinions would be on TRD's Lateral Link Set (should be LCA's from what I see). I believe they should be the same as the STi counterparts, but I also am confused if it has just the LCA's or has the LCA's and the trailing arms? I assume it has both from what I am reading? But then again it just shows the LCA's and the end links. I have a feeling there isn't much info out there! TRD part number: 48700-ZN610 |

According to the description on TRD Japan's website, it looks like its the same as OE but with a stiffer rubber bushing.

It looks like this kit comes with the rear lower control arms and rear toe arms. IIRC they don't have bushings but rather some OEM+ ball joint/spherical bearing hybrid setup.
"The pillow ball to replace the rubber bushing offers low sliding resistance. It offers smooth operation of the link. This not only enhances the tracking of the rear suspension during cornering, it contributes to the effective traction transmitted to the drive wheel because lateral rigidity is improved. It supports the linear actuation of the rear suspension." |

I have them, together with the other STi part to have all the 3 arms replaced. They have pillow balls instead of bushings.
I'm happy with them, the comfort is the same as stock ones, the grip of the rear axle is improved. |
