Hopefully not.

Love the CC dial on the Porsche. So intuitive - figured it out while driving home (after buying car) entirely based on feel.

Hmmm, Americans would rather have a HR-V, CH-R, or CX-3.
The new Fiesta looks like a solid car, but given the Focus is shifting production to China and won't be replaced until MY2019 (almost like they don't care to compete in the segment anymore), and the current Fiesta was only able to shift about 50K units (probably not at much of a profit) in 2016, I'd be surprised if they didn't just kill it in the US and replace it with the terrible looking and seemingly aged EcoSport. Also, considering the current upheaval at Ford, it makes me think that even if the FiST does hit the US, it won't be around for very long. But who knows. Ford seems to be investing heavily into the Ford Performance, and the ST might make a good bookend beneath the Focus RS. |

those sales numbers are reasonable, and people really have given massive amounts of high praise to the FiST. If they are killing the Focus for a year they need some sort of small car, and the Fiesta is a darn good one.

You nailed it; the Fiesta will not be coming back to the USA after the 2018 model year due to low sales / not profitable enough if at all. There is a rumor that there might be a small crossover introduced around 2019 or later with the Fiesta name on it. Ugh!

Most of them are automatic anyways, and then who even cares?

The new Fiesta ST will certainly be sold here. These cars are SMALL and therefore appeal to less of a market than the Focus does in general, but the current Fiesta ST is a truly wonderful little car.

Agreed. Most new cars are guilty of it. I'd go down as small as I could if I were to buy a new Fiesta ST - those new wheels are ugly IMO anyways.
