So the tC 6M/T gets the lighted shift knob but we don't? I'm replacing mine anyway but could use the $150 off an eBay sale toward other mods.

Didn't even notice that. Seems like Scion has been giving us alot of BS answers. They've said you can't get solar shiftknob on manual FRS because it is against regulations that it doesn't show gears, yet TC has it with a gear image to side (note the New York car was manual with knob and gear image above on center console).

So I've ordered two mods so far, they are small compared to some of you with a whole parts store waiting in your garage lol. Got the Subaru trunk liner, and GT86 exhaust tips (until I get an exhaust in future). I'm looking for some other ideas (where I won't spend too much money) for other small neat mods. I've been searching the forum and have some ideas like Beatsonic sharkfin antenna once they update to have Silver ignition.

I think my ideal car after adding mods here and there would major parts like brz spoiler, TRD intake and exhaust, outback fogs /w h11.

$22,195 for a Tc. Who would buy that over a standard FR-S for less than $3k more? Boggles my mind that anyone would pay $3k less than an FR-S for a Tc. The FR-S is at least $10k better than a Tc.

Hi, how much is your dealer quoted you for the BeSpoke module? My dealer is giving me a $1200 quote.

I don't recall the exact figure, but it was $1100 and change including installation.

The video producer running last weekend's shoot at the Scion Rose Cup Races here specializes in automotive programming all over the US. He said roominess is why he's getting a 10 Series tC over the FR-S plus he thinks tC is better built than his $60,000 SLK350. Quite a testament from someone who gets to drive all the new stuff from the major manufacturers.

He was about mid-late 40's, his crew of two in their mid-late 20's were all about FR-S, though they wound up asking me questions about the car. Eh, they can't know everything about every car they review.

the fr-s should be priced around the tc to better match since the tc is a bigger car

I think it's the other way around. Scion still takes heat for pricing the Avensis, I mean tC, so low and has even been accused of dumping.

I nearly bought a 1st Gen tC, it was that good. But I couldn't get over the F/F chassis limitations and lack of Torsen option. Outstanding build quality, ergos, comfort, room and DD attributes plus as we now know excellent resale value.
