Yup, as I said in another thread when its closer to the launch date things start to leak.

On a side note I wonder if the fender vents are functional this time around.

IF the reports are accurate, then I am encouraged. They did not screw up the looks, 25lbs lighter with a bigger displacement engine, a modest HP increase and a nice torque increase means it will be quicker and that increase in torque probably means the torque dip will be gone or at least much less significant.

Yeah it appears to be an evolution of the current car and not a revolution. Lighter and a power and torque bump would be awesome. I like the styling tweaks too, including the integrated boot (trunk) spoiler. Can’t wait to get some proper specs on it.

The tail looks to have a lot more character than the render. The render seems flat in comparison, assuming the tailiights do actually extend off the body like on the camo car. Overall I am happy about how the back looks. The front end sort of looks more plain, but it isn't anywhere near as bad as the current 86's mug. I bet the brake ducts work like the Supra and you can remove the covers if you want. Unless those were just for testing amd not planned for the actual car. I guess lastly will the interior match the renders too. My guess is yes except the steering wheel will be closer to the current car.

Honestly, it makes me think a bit about the new z4. Like Toyota ripped some of the design elements.

you're right. on the test car it looks like they stick out a little more.

i think it looks like 86 meets Lexus RC-F.

i didn't say they weren't. just giving example of a precedent where styling cues were borrowed. idk i think ill hold off judgement until we see the real thing.

Tail lights sticking out are so much more easily broken. Personally I prefer them tucked in anyway. I really don't like that screen sticking up above the top of the dash, I find them to be highly distracting and really annoying especially on long night drives. That would be enough to convince me not to get a car because I do a lot of driving overnight so I have full work/play days when I get to where I'm going.
