Any experience with this eBay headunit?

Hey everyone

I was poking around, looking for some android auto head units for the 86, and came across an eBay seller selling CMT (?) Head units.

Wired: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/CMT-Toyo...o/324205244136

Wireless: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/CMT-Toyo...o/324205244136

So far, all I could find out about them is from this one sellers website and YouTube, but not really anywhere else.

Has anyone here tried these or heard anything about them?

Thanks

I have never used one but it looks decent. I wonder if it uses the factory mic?

I haven't heard of that one, but it looks nice. I recently did a bunch of googling around to find a new Android unit for my car(I currently have an iPad in my dash for my stereo). My concern with the listing you have is that it doesn't bother showing ANY specs of the unit beyond the dimensions. So without any specs I'd stay away. This is what I ended up getting:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/7-Android-9.../392863809615?

It's supposed to arrive sometime this week. But it's the exact dimensions and has an 8 core CPU with 4GB RAM. A lot of units are either like this one, or have a 4 core with 2GB. I suspect most of these units are the same, but just with a different face/buttons/knobs.

Yeah that's fair, kinda why I was already hesitant on it. Let me know how that other head unit turns out.

For that much money just buy a name brand one. Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, etc.
they all have apple/android car play and shit ton more. All have plug and play kits about there.
