I had mine done at the dealer. There wasn't any problem with the windows rolling down when the door was opened.

I've been MIA for awhile. But I see some type of cruise planned for the 17th. What do we have going on?

I've heard talk that there's a fuse which can be pulled to prevent the auto-roll down while the tint sets. It probably makes the doors tricky to open though.

Yeah I specifically told the dealer not to tint it knowing I wanted to do Huper Optik again and that they'd just be tearing it off. Since they add the cost on anyway I figure I might as well pay only once for tint.

Meet at my place again in the morning. Just a nice get together and local cruise. Then some pics and lunch.

You were keen on this one right? Looks like 550mi for the 191 drive door-to-door coming back via the Salt River. Ya gotta want it.

There are some Youtubes of the twisty bits - searching "devil's highway AZ". It used to be called HWY 666 but it freaked people out, that or they'd go and steal the road signs. The vids are mostly by manatees on Goldwings but you get the idea.

It is an awesome remote road with hours of 25mph turns.
Yes, I'd wanted to get the whole group together to do the hwy 191 loop, but it was too far for a one day trip for most people here. Even if we don't do the section through Globe and instead cut across from Show Low to Payson then down to Mesa toward Jeff's house and then split up from there (with those of us in Tucson having another ~100 miles to home) it's still a 500 mile day for everyone. I've done it as a two day trip too, which was nice, we stayed at a small hotel in Springerville (nice place, relatively inexpensive). I'd still like to get everyone together for that again, but I just don't see it happening.

I went to A Better Tint, 2 days after I bought mine back in May, wanted nano ceramic stuff...Haven't had any issues with the auto scroll, and never disabled it after getting the tint done.
