I do! It's my favorite feature on my 944!
That's just really sad. Wasn't GM trying to make the Corvette better at more than just going fast in a straight line with their recent iterations of the car? |

Had a 4WD International Scout II. That had what I referred to a "Buggy Springs". Leaf springs mounted on both axles longitudinally. You could see them easily underneath the car very easily. The shackles for the front ones were mounted right under the front bumper. The whole setup reminded me of the springs I had seen on horse drawn buggies.

It's actually not, and quite ingenious in how they do it. Unlike a traditional leaf spring, the transverse leaf is only using half the spring for each side. This helps lower the Cg, and keeps the entire package very low.
