Help picking an exhaust (out of this list provided)

Hey everyone, I am considering buying an exhaust but do not want to spend more than $650 for it as its mainly just sound more than anything, with that in mind I have compiled the ones I've found within this budget. I want something noticeably louder than stock (not something slightly louder) but not so loud that if I add a header I get pulled over I plan to do so in a distant future. Additionally I dont want to have to buy a second one 3 months later.

Spec D tuning - $300

j2 engineering - $400

Namless axle back (?? not sure about this one) - $500

mxp comp rs - $550

Invidia N1 - $620

if you guys have any other recommendations please let me know

Invidia Q300 or R400 are popular quiet ones as well, N1 is too loud for my tastes.

If you plan to do a header and don't wanna get another exhaust system deff not the N1. Of the listed ones that is the only one I have experience with. A friend has nameless and with stock header it sounds great but I fear with a header it would be to loud. All that can depend on the header you go with to though so do you have an idea of what header is in your future?

I actually dont want a quiet one. I've heard the q300 and its only slightly louder than stock :/. I want something in the middle ground between the q300 and N1.

I actually don't have a specific one in mind as of yet. I assume I would pick which ever one adds the least noise. I do like how deep the nameless sounds.

Issue with picking the header that adds the least amount of noise is that in a headers case generally noise means better flow. Better flow means more power gains. So if your fine with going with a header that adds less noise and power then any one of them other then the N1 will work for you.

But if you want to go for sounds and power I would recommend doing something like the q300. Not going to be loud right now but better tones then stock exhaust even with a stock header. Once you add a quality header to the mix though it will really come alive.

If you want to split the best of both worlds then as previously mentioned the r400 is very popular.

Exhaust

Different car, but on my '15 STI the Nameless 4" dual exhaust became brutal in a short period of time. When I added a DP & tune it was painful and I found a used 5"- no appreciable difference. And the build time was forever...

Looks like you're in Miami, seems like a Cars & Coffee might give you the opportunity to hear something in person.

Of those choices I would choose the nameless axleback which is more like $530 actually and around $650 with a muffler.

R400 is the middle ground from invidia. You.can make it as loud as you want with header/FP options.

CSG Touring86 Exhaust is the only exhaust next to ACE Laguna 90 that can pass strict sound limitations with a full catless supercharged setups.

To save money just watch the forums, example being a brand new MXP exhaust just sold a few days ago for around $700.
Buy a slightly used one or new one that someone changed their minds on and you could get a better exhaust for your price range.

Just a suggestion

I have the HKS Legamax Premium for $725. Similar in quieteness to the Q300. Opens up and sounds professional when on it, not ricey
