Well after a nerve racking night, finally around 1230am I was ready to start-up, after numerous checking and making sure, everything was ready. Here it is guys, I'll get some more video's after we finish up the down pipe, and the exhaust. Very excited to get the exhaust done this week and take the car and give it a much needed wash, there's cob webs all under it, lol

Fixed!

Update!!!

Ok, this weekend got a little crazy, apparently the previous owner(who shall remain nameless) either had no knowledge of how his supra was setup or did his best to conceal it from me, so anyways, the time from the previous tuner had a number of problems with it. First the obd2 had been converted to obd1, I've been told that people did this a lot for tuning purposes as it was easier to tune obd1 rather then obd2, there was no MAF sensor or map sensor...at all, the fuel was set up on an RPM table according to what the previous tuner figured was right for the amount of air flow at each RPM on the stock twins, so no matter what the psi coming in was the computer was set and lock at a constant consumption of fuel all through the rpm band, basically it was rigged, and further more what was the reason for deleteing the MAF? Me or my tuner were dumb founded, so, we talked about the options and looked at what were my goals for the future and decided why not go ahead and take the plunge, so I bought a full ProEFI system, only things that I didn't get with the package was the FlexFuel sensor, and the can gauge, which I can easily do when I do the fuel system. Anyways so on with the pics, SSP (SouthSidePerformance) are the guys doing the install and tune, the guy doing my tuning on the Supra is Dave who use to be at/own SSA, anyways the shop they are at now specialize in twin disc trans, such as evo's/GTR's, basically anything that has paddle shifting ability. So anyways here are a few pics of what they had lying around at the shop, enjoy

The GTR engine bay in the pics above it if I rember correctly just under or right at 1000whp, and it's not an alpha or Jotech or a Switzer, it's an SSP built 1000whp GTR, which I thought was pretty neat considering the norm now a days is to go with one of the other built packages or products from the said companies. They also have/had the top speed Street tire GTR at the Texas mile, and at one point were the second fastest 1/4 mile GTR, anyways I'll follow up soon as I get the supra back and update again with their quality of work, I will also do a shop performance review, stay tuned
