Hey guys I have a V1 and need to do the SC oil change on it. I dont have my manual however and cant find one except for the install manual on the V3 from ft86speedfactory.

It does not offer much help in terms of showing a procedure to doing this oil change safely.

-does anyone have a link where I can download the V1 manual or other reference to use?

also has anyone done it that can give advice on this?

thanks !

Hey, are you thinking on this supercharger? The one I tested once had the HKS kit. It was the basic one and made 240 @wheels. Very very strong result ...

Now on test! I install a new wider restrictor of 41 mms of diameter vs the stock one of 39.

Car gains much more reactivity on medium –low range and from initial logs I see a medium range of +20grs air, a need of +6/7 of fuel in comparison with stock configuration of HKS V2.

It’s mandatory to revise all parameters first of all DI+PI and to better balance engine load.

I think that this is the best mod for upgrade HKS V2 without exceed and no need to change fuel pump and injectors.

Tune suite: Ecutek RaceRom10, 100 RON fuel only.

*

To cut with laser a new Iron Aisi304 restrictor I paid $10,00 (if someone wants I get the file for laser cutting).

you can go to 43~44mm on stock MAF sensor & injector .
(max boost is about 11.5)

I use 45.5mm now with stock injector, pump & STI maf sensor.
max boost is about 12~13 depends on IAT & altitude.

good luck !

Hey guys, I have the v3 kit and love it. Two questions for someone seasoned - any idea why I see -11 vacuum at idle instead of 20ish? This is the reading from my OFT. second, how do I attach a Tial QRJ to the HKS manifold? I'm having a tough time finding the base that fits. I emailed Tial but haven't gotten a response. Thank you!

What headers and front pipe is everyone running?

I’m concerned once the standard headers are removed I will experience a terrible rasp in the exhaust. Does anyone have an ACE header and catted front pipe with the hks supercharger?

I run on Tomei EL and Tomei overpipe with HKS Spec L Ti.
very low sound and no resonance. Only very high Db level @160Km on highway

I was actually just looking at your engine bay. That is exactly what I want to do. It looks almost factory when it is painted black.

I was hoping it was possible to keep the exhaust a little on the quiet side with no annoying rasp or drone so that is good to hear. Thank you

Differences between HKS supercharger kits

Hello FT86'ers,

I am shopping for my first supercharger and I have been researching the HKS V3 kit which I believe is the 12001-KT003. On the HKS JP website theres also the PRO 12001-AT009 which says its to be discontinued as per the site, and the GT2 PRO 12001-AT012 kit:

https://www.rhdjapan.com/hks-gt2-sup...t-zn6-zc6.html

Pricing is not too much different between them all and I was just wondering what the main differences are. Also, any reviews or comments regarding the flash editor if I were to get one with it?

Thanks in advance for the info.
