Nice let us know what you think of it. I'm seriously thinking about a catback exhaust.

it seems like perrin is the only US vendor that's selling a catback. there's always the option of going with a JDM catback, but they're much more expensive and i haven't seen any reliable dynos yet. you're also looking at a tune if you want to get the most out of the catback, which will void your factory warranty.

I'm looking at the Perrin setup, also Agency Power has one. I also might wait and see what Grimspeed comes out with. Always good to support a local business.

Hey guys,

Im seriously thinking about getting in on the group buy for the Ecutek cable and stage 1 tune from Visconti. Anyone want to go in on it with me? I was also thinking I could buy it and do local tunes for a fee.

Thoughts?

I'm interested, any idea what the price would be?

Looks like they are at 16 people on the group-buy list. I think that puts the cost about 750. if they get 4 more it'll drop to 700.

The group buy is for 1 person only. To create your tunes you would need to buy the tuner software, and that cost much more.

What you could do us one guy gets the group buy (750), and others buy the license and tune only (600), then you all split the difference.

P&L in chicago is coming out with several things including a catback, and an overpipe with a high flow cat. The numbers were coming out last week, but there was a tweak that needed to be made.

Ah, I see. So a 'license' is tied to each ECU? I was wondering how that worked.
