Year-over-year, the BRZ is down a full 45 percent.

If monthly sales continue to be this low, you have to wonder how long Subaru can continue to justify selling the BRZ in the States.

Hope this doesn't occur.

But....is it down based on a drop in supply or demand?

They didn't specify but it is almost surely demand both for the WRZ and BRZ. Car has had great reviews... poor marketing and fickle consumers.

it doesn't look _terrible_ but that front bumper alone is enough to push me to a GR86, if I wanted to simply upgrade.

For me it's the side and rear for both twins. The rear looks like any Japanese car rear, and on the sides they took out the curves that gave it a classic sexy look.

Ugly.

Yea I ask because this game gets played a lot, and we've had huge discussions here on it. If they sell every one they build, is there pent up demand not being met?

An example in the other direction. All the sites that pay attention, and even GMs own press releases say the following:

Quote:
In the United States, Cadillac Lyriq deliveries totaled 7,294 units in Q2 2024, an increase of about 441 percent compared to 1,348 units sold in Q2 2023. In the first six months of the year, Lyriq sales increased about 465 percent to 13,094 units.
That sounds great unless you know what they aren't saying. One year ago that they were selling nearly every one that was built to someone that had a preorder, and people were waiting months to get one. Now, GM has finally ramped up production and there are spec units on lots.

I ordered mine in May of 2022 and it wasn't delivered until January 2024.

Marketing is good imo. Problem is dealerships with their insane mark ups
