Has anyone had any issues with rubbing against the parking brake line in the rear? Is there anyway to relocate the line? I’m trying to avoid running spacers so I don’t have to add more negative camber

Do you have aftermarket rear control arms? With the stock arms, you can see in the photo below that the Ebrake cable goes through at bracket to help keep it from rubbing.

https://static.ed.edmunds-media.com/..._toelink_a.jpg

On many aftermarket control arms, the bracket is removed and the cable can get in the way when running wider fitments. Most people will simply use a few zipties placed strategically to solve the issue. Just be sure to not make them too tight and the cable still need to be able to move on the inside.

After going through the 182 pages I’ve learned a lot!!!
I am currently on stock suspension with no modifications on my 13 BRZ.
Just bought some Option Labs R716 18x9.5 +35 offset.
Looking to run them on 255/35/18 Firehawks Indy 500
Will these fit on stock suspension? After reading I know 38 offset will rub strut, but hopeful I’ll be ok with 35 offset

That fitment will be pretty aggressive on the fender side. For reference we offer an 18x9.5" ET40 (5mm less poke) and with a 255/35-18, we recommend a minimum of -2 degrees camber front and rear. With a track oriented tire that runs extra wide closer to -3 degrees front and -2.5 rear are needed. With an ET35 offset, the needed camber will be a bit higher. This fitment will be tricky without adding coilovers, front camber plates, and adjustable rear arms to dial in the right alignment specs.

I just did mine!

265/35/18 A052
Titan 7 T-S5 18x9.5 +40
Tarmac 2 Clubsport, camber maxed out in the slotted hole
Subaru conical washers
Pedders offset front strut top mounts

No other changes from OEM. Slightly rubs sometimes and throws rocks all over the place. I love it.

18x9.5 +40 on 275/40/18 Nitto NT01

Ask me anything, here's the specs:

- Volk TE37SL 18x9.5 +40
- Rays Closed-End Lug Nuts
- Nitto NT01 275/40/18 R
- Nitto NT05 265/35/18 F
- HKS Hypermax GTIV Coilovers

Front: No modifications, zero rub, full lock, all bumps
Rear: Pulled rear fenders, trimmed rear bumper inside and inner bumper clip, doesn't rub daily driving unless going over train tracks or a nasty bump, it will graze the rear bumper. Clears the fender 150%

this looks great. Do you have any close up pics of the areas you trimmed in the rear?

Looks amazing. Make me feel better that my te37sl 18x9.5 +40s, with 255/35/18 all around will work hopefully without rolling or pulling the fenders. So the only suspension mods your running are coilovers? No lcas or anything?

17x9 +35 RPF1
RCE yellow+Bilstein B6/ pedders strut Mount
245/40R17 RS4
Roughly -2°F/-2°R camber

Tires fit wide for 245s

No rubbing issues, fitment pretty much perfect without running excessive camber for mostly street use.

Exclamation

hello so I'm experiencing a slight problem, I finally upgraded my wheels and am now there is slight rub whenever I hit a small bump in the road.

Currently running 18x9.5 5x100 255/35 and I'm on Tien coils. And no I don't have my fenders rolled. Any thoughts on what might fix this?
