It came at a particularly inconvenient time because we had just sent gifts to some members and were waiting to hear back via PM that they arrived safely. Thanks for your help! Happy Friday! |

It is unfortunate that we cannot get a response. We have been ardent supporters of this forum.
Best we can conclude is that when a member bumped an old thread in the BRZ general forum about t-shirts from last summer, we broke a rule by replying that they were no longer available and mentioning where people can contact us to show interest in old designs. Maybe this was frowned on because our vendor account was not active? I thought it better to reply than to ignore someone. Since I was not creating a post to advertise something, I figured it was safe. I was mainly telling someone "sorry, those are sold out." If that is what caused this... sorry! Or maybe I am totally wrong. That's just the only thing I can think of. Hmmm... |

From past experience moderating a board, just my two cents in here.
If you're a vendor, use the vendor account. If you're no longer a vendor, make a personal account and don't use the vendor account anymore. I know it can be a pain in the ass, but it's even more of a pain in the ass when someone doesn't want to be a vendor anymore and still has a bunch of vendor posts flying around out there. IIRC some boards will go through and delete any old vendor posts if they lapse their payment or decide not to continue, so at least you have that. It's a fine line and it's no fun for mods to have to make those calls, and from another vendor's perspective it's a bit unfair to be active all of the time but only expected to uphold your vendor status while you have something new to sell.. |
