Perrin pulley install gone wrong
So I installed my perrin pulley today just like the DIY on here said. Then I got in my car and drove it for a minute. I got out of the car to let my buddy drive it and we hear a small knocking noise. We went back to the house and found that oil had exploded all over the engine bay. When we tryed to find the problem we had no luck all I know is the pulley wobbles before u start it. I have uninstalled the pulley and put the stock one back on and it does the sake thing. Any ideas? I need help.

I paid http://www.infamousperformance.net to install mine. I watched them do the install and I seem to remember that there was some sort of O-ring seal behind the pulley. I have had no oil leak issues.
I'd check your oil level ASAP, and then take it to someone who is an expert on these motors. If it is pissing oil everywhere it might be better to have it towed in. I wouldn't drive it!!! Good luck.

Gotta be crooked and you possibly may have damaged the key-way or the key itself.

It is manual. And I think I might just have the road side assistance tow it to the dealer. I'm just worried about how much this is going to cost

swap to the stock pulley unless you wanna lose your warranty as illegal as that is, it'll save your butt in the long run. unless you wanna take responsibility for installing it wrong. then have them tow your car to a shop either way.

The dealership is going to know that the problem was caused by the OP. Please don't advocate he commit fraud. It sounds like you have damaged the oil seal. Hopefully it can simply be replaced fairly easily.

If the pully is wobbling it sounds like you did not line up the key on the pulley to the key on the crank. Also you need to make sure like others said to check and make sure the o-ring seal on the front of the crankshaft didn't come off with the old pulley.
The biggest thing is making sure the alignment key's on both the pulley and the crank seat together properly. If they are not seated properly, the pulley will not be aligned properly and will wobble on the crankshaft and possibly damage other things and chew up your fan belt.
