have you tried asking for opinions to ecutek Support. . they have lot of acknowledgment on this car, you just have to have luck they are Willing to share lol
They used to help me a lot in the past, now they are a bit more evasive sometimes

just a little OT, the app ecu Connect stopped working on my xiaomi phone for more than 1 year, i stressed them so much via email and they were blaming it on me, then last week they releases an update with the changelog saying "fix for xiaomi units" and now magically works

Do you have Techstream? What are your values for the DI Injector Idle Learn (or something similar)?

Going on a limb here but try changing the the injector mode to Direct in the Active Test, hold rpm at 2k for a minute, check if the DI Learn values change, and see if it idles on its own after that.

So today we decided to start the car up with the fuel pressure sensor on the high fuel pressure rail to see what would happen, car started up perfectly on port and direct injections, the sensor is readying 16Mpa on idle which is wayyyy to high on idle, have one on order but is back ordered till the 24th unfortunately, we reckon it could be that?

Thanks John

Run an earth wire from chassis to the DI computer

Also try another DI computer they are all same just swap it in

Make sure you have all three botls in di computer and it mount bracket bolts

Make sure the engine earth strap has be installed best to run a direct earth to do computer to test

Ensure the plugs in di computer pushed in all the way

Yes should be round 3-4mpa at idle

If the di computer sees 16 MPA at idle when the real pressure is maybe 3 then it only going to inject 1/4 the required fuel I suspect as it calculated pulse width based on pressure, it's a mechanical pump so unlikely it's rearly generating 16mpa at idle

So are you saying you think its the fuel pressure sensor?

I managed to get one from subaru, it's arriving today so will let you know

Thanks
John

Yes my guess would be fuel pressure sensor , but it could be the pump/regulator
