Give that a wash and wax. Should make bank in an antique shop on the high street.
Ice bucket and liquor on top lots of room for highball glasses, paper umbrellas and swizzles below.
Could store 14 screwtop wine bottles with the necks toward center.

The 7 passenger capacity will also mean we can take one car instead of two for our frequent family jaunts on weekends in the summer.
The extra power is nice as well since the 2.4 NA and CVT in the Outback gave it a zero to 60 of about 5 minutes and even though heavier the Ascent with the turbo is much quicker.

All in all there are some very valid reasons to go larger even though it does mean that some people will look at her driving by herself and scream "wasteful!".

EDIT: OH and we got so much for trade in on the Outback right now that it would have been foolish to not upgrade at this point in time!
Trade the Outback in on a Wilderness model. You get the 2.4 turbo engine in a smaller package. It also has a slightly lower FD. I've read they're as quick or quicker to 60 than a WRX.

My son bought one. I love it. Not enough to let the BRZ go, but if I could pry my wife's Camry from her grasp I'd trade it on one.

I am actually impressed with the fuel mileage at cruise the turbo 2.4 gets, it's not terrible.

Still wouldn't give the increased towing capacity.

Ya by the looks of it the increase in mileage will not be a huge concern.
Falls right in the middle of the pack for mileage on a three row SUV and with an average of 23MPG actually beats what some people on this forum say they get with their twin.

As luck would have it, saw a gray 2022 BRZ today, first sighting in the wild and got to look around it a bit. Still do not want.

Side note, man today Tapatalk app sucks! Can’t even upload image… well Tapawalk never was great, but recently been worse

Disappointed you didn't get her to go for the Tahoe.

(Actually looks like a great ride)

I usually have to try 4-5 times and it will work.

So I applied to a supervisor position and already had my interview. Turns out that I was literally the only one that applied, and fulfilled the requirements. Now they have opened it back up and changed the requirements to preferred qualifications. Meh...

This puts me in a weird position, because I could lose the opening to someone who doesn't necessarily have preferred experience, but rather has more experience being a supervisor. Also because our HR dept kind o sucks and rather have green stats on their job openings.

I would be pissed.

I'm already pissed, I about threw the GM out of an upstairs window which is dangerous for him since he has two windows in his office.
