Man i want to wash and wax my car but every time i can actually get around to doing it the weather report says it'll rain in the next two days....
Plus the wife's X1 needs some T&L too. C'mon weather i need at least a week of not-making-my-car-dirty for me to feel like im not wasting my time doing that. |

I'm going to have to do this soon. Also my driver-side one is showing microcracks in it, likely from where I got tapped on that side a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, I'm sure there is no way to prove the damage is from the accident even though the passenger side one isn't doing it.

The TLDR 1k is softer but easier to spray. Dries faster.
2k has a hardener agent that is activated when you go to use it. It's proper automotive clear. The can is good for about two days after you hit the little tab on the bottom. Downside to 2k is it's more volatile to spray, like a crappy paper mask isn't going to cut it. You'll want a proper respirator. Dry time is generally longer too. Cure time is a few days. But it will last far longer especially on higher impact zones like headlights. |

Please don't spray 2K without being fully covered - no exposed skin - goggles, and a proper respirator with organic vapour cartridges. Those urethanes are nasty

Time for another dyno. I'm curious what 100% stock + E85 puts down. |
