2013 VS 2017 Engine reliability

Given each one has the same FI kit and supporting mods, will the 2017 motor face less issues or are the differences negligible?

There were a lot of little rigidity improvements in '16 for that extra 5hp.

My gut says 16+ is better for Fi, but I don't believe there's any data to back it up

I doubt anything on a 2017 motor will save you if something goes wrong on an FI setup, you have cooling/oiling issues, or you load the rods too much. Motors will likely behave the same way.

2013 engines are 8 years old at this point. By nature, a 2017+ should have less issues. Improvements in the valvetrain and coilpacks alone make it worth avoiding a 13
