They're better off joining the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship in the DPi class. Nissan pulled out of LeMans after the absolute abysmal failure of the fwd Nissan GTR-LM.
DPi Is much cheaper and puts it out of competition with Toyota. A BRZ or STi branded DPi would do a lot for Subaru's racing clout here in North America, beyond the younger generation/time attack/rally crowd. |
