Registered! Novice /w Instructor level. Really looking forward to learn and have a good time!

Next up - Buy a helmet! Then sometime before the event - do my first oil change ever, first brake pad change ever, and who knows, maybe even my first brake fluid flush ever if I'm really feeling brave LOL

Nice fellas, only a few slots left for the Novice w/Instructor.

Plenty of Novice Solo for folks who have been on track before and Advanced drivers.

3 more novice w/Instructor slots available.

A bit more of the Novice Solo and Advanced but we are going to be limiting those as well so everyone gets plenty of space on track.

Signup ASAP if you haven't already.

Ivan I think I saw a previous post of yours where you said you used stop tech street perf pads or was it hawk hp+ pads, yourself at the track. That was with stock rotors right? How was your experience withe them at the track? And do you keep them on the car for daily street driving also? How are they for street? Thanks. Was thinking of choosing between those 2 which you guys stock.

Stock Rotors are fine, for street and track use if you are a novice, Stoptech Street Performance should be fine. HP+ is a good alternative but they are a bit noisy and dusty on the street.

Yup, novice - first time on track, so it's good to hear that you think the Stoptech Street Perf will be fine. Because I have been reading CSG_Mike's tracking thread and he had been recommending even novices and first timers on track to go for more aggressive pads, so was wondering..... thought that maybe the Hawk HP+ would be a good middle-ground compromise, better than Stoptech but not as aggressive as the Carbotech XP8/10s etc that some are recommend.
I know my wallet would sure be happier if the Stoptechs are good enough and I didn't go for the Hawk or Carbotech LOL

Having been tracking for the past 12+ years, instructing for 10+, it depends on the track and the event and the vehicle and the driver on how much brakes you will need. However, a novice level on lightning with this car shouldn't be burning up Stoptech Street Performance pads. I will have my new BRZ there and likely will only have rims/Tires done on it by then and well, I'm a bit beyond a novice level

Worst case scenario, we will have pads on hand that can be swapped out on site in the event of a catastrophic failure.

That it's the combination of all those factors makes a lot of sense. Thanks!!

Mike it feels like you guys are truly going above and beyond for this event. Class act. All us novices will truly appreciate it! Thank you
