Wow doing research on me, yep will do at that 12L to 8L-ish.
My lead foot will fix that pretty quick

Anyway back to topic.

Is grimmspeed going to make a uber cool center arm-rest? That would be awesome!!! Just a idea maybe for your next 86 product.

Can't wait! I'm only about 15 spots down the line. Any word on shipping costs to Australia yet?

Cheers,
Vic

If you guys managed to create an armrest that is functional, keeps use of the cup holders, covers personal belongings, and doesn't require drilling, you guys will be making a lot of money. In my opinion of course.

Payment will be sent tomorrow or Saturday. Note/smilies from Alex again this time?! I'll also be using a different shipping address this time, though I do appreciate the email/call last time to make sure I had used the right onw.

RE:Armrest ^^^

Interior fabricating and upholstry is not really their expertise. Though I'm sure they are smart enough, and skilled enough to do a great job at it, it's likely not an area they interested in. Plus I'm sure their hearts are more into performance type stuff rather than dress up stuff.

I joked a few months ago that they should fab up some HVAC knobs from aluminium. After I posted it as a joke, I thought about it for a second. They would do an AWESOME job! Yeah, yeah, it's not performance oriented either, but the engineering would be fun. Well, IDK, I'm not an engineer.
However, the cost for them to make something like that would be pretty high I would think. Maybe too high for it to be a viable project.
I would be interested in what @GrimmSpeed would have to say about this idea.

So far, I have five GrimmSpeed items on my FR-S, Which, I think, is more than what Toyota made. What will number six be? (I've never bought so much from one company)

With how often we open/close the hoods on our development cars, hood struts are DEFINITELY a function>form item. They're easier to use, get the prop rod out of the way when you're working on a car, eliminate the risk of the hood falling and since they open higher, your engine bay is brighter when you're working in it. I'm not sure I'd call it 'performance', but I wouldn't call it 'dress up' either. Just my $0.02 though. Looking forward to seeing you guys install these!
