After it sitting in a box for over a year, I finally was able to install these TRD door stabilizers on my Series.Blue BRZ, which took me over half hour of using a hand impact driver and hammer. I cant feel my hand anymore.

I drove pretty poorly, but oh well. My fastest run from my second autocross event of the year (two days in a row). I still won a trophy against some nationally competitive drivers, which I think says more about trophies being "participation trophies" than anything else.

Thanks! JDL UEL, OP, and Ultra-Quiet frontpipe. Perrin 2.5" resonated catback.

I put the mic (Olympus ME-51S) under the parcel shelf in the trunk, way better than wind noise

Absolutely right about the wind noise, mic placement
I have a scheduled HPDE at the end of next month. Very often people tell me to try out AutoX because it's cheaper to run than HPDE, and "less wear" on the car/consumables.

AutoX is fun, but HPDE is way more fun, IMO. It sucks that track days end up costing so much more than AutoX.

That is my argument every time! Sometimes I want to do an AutoX event just to fill in the gap between HPDE. In my head it will calm the beast, and not cost too much. I always resort to doing some GoKarting instead. Keep up the good work. I enjoy seeing the way you go about things.

I've been lazy, maybe I'll copy over my "build" thread from another forum to keep my stuff documented.

I'm really similar to Ian (ATL_BRZ) in how we're building our cars, but I think I'm a touch more biased to autocross (which means silly rules that I'm only 95% following) at least for this year. Next year I might go wild. Though if I destroy another set of rotors in one day on track I might do a BBK

Thanks for following along, it's much appreciated!

Wheels?

Testing out wheel colors on my wheels in photoshop. The bronze/cooper is my best estimate of what the results would be with Plastidip (cooper metalizer). The red wheels is just for the heck of it and I kinda liked it.

Thoughts?

( I'm not actually lowered yet, just photoshop of approximately how I'd want it )

Wait were you installing or removing them? I've thought about picking these up but if they're a hassle I might pass.

Removing. I scraped 3-4 times at my work speedbumps which are slightly bigger then street bumps (due to private property kinda) and folding 2 pinch weld.

This is on stock ride height. The 3M provided isn't great, suggest you purchase proper 3M double sided, clay bar, and be overly attentive.
