Hang in there! Mine is still showing 'Planned Production December' and waiting for i to go to 'Scheduled for Production' hopefully in the next few days!

Just got a call from the dealer today saying its on the boat! Forgot to ask for a VIN, but i think the tracking may update soon with it anyway. Estimated delivery is 22/12 but he said I should get it between 12/12-17/12.

Some November builds were showing delivery 3 January 2013 so March would be looking good, mine is showing a month earlier than you and if that happens I'd say I will see mine late January or early February, depending when in December it's actually built

Some what like mine...

Built in November (gets on the boat in a day or two), arrives in Australia on the 17th December, transported to holding yard on the 19th December where I'm told it could be 5-10days after that till I see my car (being Christmas and all it may not be until the first week of January).

5 weeks at best, 7 weeks at worst..... I'm going to skip the detail/dealer wash and removal of plastic covers/wrap so maybe I'll get it sooner

Mine is now sitting at the dealer waiting for the finance to come through. Hopefully picking my baby up tomorrow

Doubt that you will be able to 'skip' the Dealer much that you would like to - the cars are transported to the Dealer by Patricks and the Dealer does the pre-delivery and checks for any damage. Best ring and check with them

I saved a few days by skipping the predelivery detailing. I think because the dealer processes heaps of cars a day, ur car will be part of that queue so it'll be idle for a while. Also my car got off the ship to the dealer in 3days (probably as close as you'll get to best case scenario)

I've waited this long, another 2-3 days don't matter, besides when mine is ready it's a matter of getting to the Dealership to collect it, about 170km - currently planning for a mate to come with me in one of the MX5's then come back - so would have to be a Monday or Tuesday for that to work!

Just waiting to see if my status moves from A10 to A20 in the next few days, seems that happens around 21-22-23 of each month - or I can ring the Toyota 1800 number!

Remember I'm in Perth for starters so some Of what you said does not apply. Our cars are driven to the holding yard and not by a truck.

I did not say I was skipping the dealer... Just skipping the detail and wash. Pdi still needs to be done but in the past I've had to wait an extra 3days to get the car because the detailers were behind. For me 3 days during Christmas could mean a week or two extra. Besides Id rather not have the dealer scratches applied either

I ordered my GTS AT on the 26th June in Perth. Just been told for production in January!
Was hoping to get it in December/January. Wonder what sort of wait for other people in Perth?

Yeah, sorry I didn't check where u were .. agree about the 'skip detail', when I bought my 94 Celica in Sydney back in '94, a $54,300 caar and the detailers must have dragged the rags across a bl**dy desert! I got the car back to Wagga Wagga [450km] only to find it covered in scratches when under fluoro lighting!! Had to go back to Sydney for repair it was so bad!
