Just wanted to let the fellow first 86 owners know hehe.
Noticed this when I put on my custom plates today.
So only the first 86 frs has their plate tags as the month of MAY!!
Since the rest of the owners get theirs in June.
Just a lil thing that makes us special haha

I am waiting also. So far from CA that it takes UPS an extra 2-3 days to deliver.

My car was sitting on the front porch when I get home today. I charged the battery up real quick and took it for a spin in the kitchen. ITS FUN!!!!

I want to get the drift slicks for it so I can have some fun outside.

Thats why I'm waiting until next year to get a personalized plate. If I get it now, the registration will show the month that I order them, not when I got the car.

You can make it slide a bit even with out flipping the motor around or putting on slicks. Just get up to speed, corner hard and lift the throttle. This little car is fun

I flipped the drive train around to the drift setup, and it's a bit more slippery. Chaninging the differentials isn't as easy as the picture looks. When you pull the cover off, all control arms fall off too. Wasn't too bad though.

Crap. Does that mean I now have to get the 5Axis kit and hood hold downs for Olivia so she'll match my RC? Gotta do what I gotta do I guess.

Finally got the delivery notice for Monday from UPS. Fingers crossed it's going to be Firestorm!

The RC does not come with side view mirrors so thoes will have to come off too.

Mine is. It's a little darker than the real car, but looks great.

Mine was delivered a couple of days ago. Just now took it out of the box and started charging the battery. I'm going to try it without cutting a hole in the roof for the antenna first. I don't want to slip and end up with a convertible!!! Oh, I got Asphalt.

I'm the last one to be admitted to the First 86 in the middle of April, but somehow my number was #43 for all correspondence from Scion.

So #43 it is.

I didn't cut the hole in the roof for the antenna either. The antenna wire isnt that long, so I trimmed the antenna tube down to match the size of the wire. With the body on, the antenna curves towards the back of the car, no holes required.

I took some pics of it earlier. I had to rip off some of the stickers. They were bothering me.
