I know I've seen kits come with a normal steel flywheel, not a lighter aluminum one.

Thinking about it, IIRC I saw two options, clutch kit and clutch kit w/ lightened flywheel.

EDIT: Yep. the reg flywheel is 11.8 pounds, the lightened is 10.5. Wonder what the stock flywheel weighs.

Have you used there "regular" flywheel and lightened one as well? Do they make a lot of noise?

I swear we just had this exact conversation on Weds this week. I'm leaning towards the CM setup with the heavier of the two lightweight flywheels.

David, I could feel what you're talking about in Tuts car just as a passenger. If I wanted a car more for track than street I think I'd go 6 puck but on the streets the CM seems a little more civilized.

Gem, are you still on stock clutch???

Once I'm tuned hopefully and fingers crossed in about a week, I'll take you for a ride.

Yes stock clutch, but its gotten ridiculously soft to depress, tho no slippage that I can "tell" but it does feel a bit vague around redline of late, so I am sure its-a-comin

I honest feel like my clutch is softer too but no slippage yet. You are making far more power than I am so I don't expect my clutch to slip at all but the lighter feeling is odd.

I'm trying to fix all the weak links before going FI...we'll see how that works out ha!

On the topic of boost, below are a few plots with the provided 75mm pulley and my 3-bar MAP sensor reading.

Set up - Perrin Cold-Air Intake, FA20Club EL Header (catted), 2.5" Perrin over-pipe, FA20Club resonated front-pipe, stock cat-back.

A log from my track session (filtered to WOT) running E85:

Here is a log I sent to my tuner today with some three pulls on 93. Not sure how EcuTek adjusts the bar reading, I'm definitely not running 1.6 bar, perhaps that -1?
