ah nevermind. It came in today! I cant pick it up until the weekend, but no more stressing about the delays!

For a quick timeline:

Ordered: 12/15/21 (May ETA)
VON#: 12/16/22 (via email from SoA)
VIN#: 02/11/22 (w/ new ETA of 3/15)

I was able to register my new VIN# to MySubaru 2/13/22.

Earlier this morning I was able to get my Subaru Window Sticker although I don't know when it was first available as I haven't checked in a couple of days. MySubaru hasn't updated anything yet, it still shows that it's "coming to life." But hopefully the window sticker means that 3/15 will be the day it arrives.

Man I think you likely still have quite a way to go. My "coming to life" was jan 25th and my car didnt show until 3/7. Theres still a few other steps after that to show that its loaded on a train, then onto a truck. Hope Im wrong! FWIW Mine still says that it is supposed to arrive by late feb and that it hasnt arrived yet so the MySubaru site isnt exactly updated accurately

Just checked MySubaru for the millionth time today. New update: "Almost on it's way! Your BRZ is about to start the trip to Hansel Subaru."

Ask your salesperson or call into Subaru cust service about that vin. Surely there's one by now

Ordered two days later than you, ETA is May 2022. Have the VON but no VIN, called Subaru last week. They said no update or change to May ETA.

I fell your pain. Others who ordered two weeks before us already got the car, or it's on the way. Maybe we will get it in April.

"update", to my knowledge nothing has changed. I should have included in my original post I received my VON on 11/20. No vin and ETA is 7 weeks out. I don't personally believe that time schedule is doable in terms of assembly and transit across the world.

No VIN yet

Called SOA this past Monday and still on for April. Crazy how a week or two of placing an order can drastically change the ETA date.

I wonder if the spec ordered also plays a role, and maybe even the size of the dealer its ordered from. Red Premium MT doesn't seem to popular in a sea of WRB Limited MT's (even though there's a bunch of red GR86's lol). I really don't care what color it is tbh, just want a plain base manual.

At this point I just want a VIN by April, to know that the car actually exists. I understand the supply chain issues getting the car to the customer, but right now that car doesn't even exist for me yet lol.

Exactly…I just want a vin to confirm the build is actually happening.
