Hi All, really excited about the FR-S, currently drive a 2001.5 B5.5 VW Passat and ready for a change. Always found the Miata very interesting but needed a 2+2 (wife and 2 kids
) so was thinking about a used BMW 135i but now this seems like a good option.... looking fwd to test driving one soon!

I would think that you would want to turn your FR-S into a track car and keep your IS300 as your DD haha

I'm actually in the process of joining our oldest fighting force. I would look into Scion's military rebate along with the care package for Service members $1000 isn't much but its something off this amazing car. Hello everyone, I've been on these forums for a while now just never made a membership, but here I am. My name is Ivan. Looking forward to owning a FR-S very soon. Wish everyone the best in their search. I have yet to read a review of this car that has not WOW'd the reviewer. Whiteout FR-S / Manual / BeSpoke Audio <-- My Choice of Course |

Hey, I'm new here. Been lurking for the past few days and love to read all the posts about the FR-S though it's making me incredibly impatient about waiting for mine. I don't know if I count since I'm not buying mine, but leasing, but I'm planning on buying it out at the end and customizing it then, so we'll see how this goes!

Hey everyone!
I've been lurking on the site for about a year, but just signed up for an account today. As you can tell by my custom title, my name is Matt. I live in Atlanta and ordered a Satin White Pearl BRZ Limited with rear diffuser. I already recognize a few names from other forums and of course, see some friends on here.

Hi:
Been reading the site since November 2011, and must say it's by far the best of the FT86 sites, with some really good information. I'm a mechanical engineer, older than the average poster here, and my first car was a used 1960 (!) Volvo PV544. 85 hp, four speed, 100 mph at 6,000 rpm in high slightly downhill, weight 2200 lb, RWD, 4.56:1 rear axle, 15 inch skinny tires old-fashioned fastback. Had a variety of Audis since 1975 till 1995, then went Subaru. Latest one is a 2008 Legacy GT, which is a great car, but slightly ponderous. Also, it's too fast for much fun and tends to arrive at corners with too much of a head of steam, and either plows or gets wriggly and unstable, particularly in crosswinds and higher speeds. Still, very nice, and the engine is just lovely. You have to watch it, and it's very RWD-feeling in snow and ice, back end is all over the place. Have spent 15 minutes sitting in a BRZ at the local dealer, when nobody else was around a couple weeks ago. Liked it a lot, few interior shortcomings, but have been promised a test drive soon. If I like it, I'm getting one. Look forward to hearing of other new owner experiences as time goes on. |

Just a little hello from France. I just sold my '07 Mx5, and I'm waiting for my test drive of the GT86 on June 16th.
If I like it, chances are I'll buy the car between now and the end of the year. |
