Ok, thanks. I was just curious, after watching you catch up to cars that I know should faster. I guess it's all driver skill.

Full 25 minute session. Fastest of the weekend. Lots of passes including multiple 968's on R Compounds, 944's, a Cayman R, C6 Vette, and a couple 911's.

I burned through 8 gallons of E85 in this session!

Edited down my fastest 1:46.7 lap featuring a fun battle with a 968.

Lol yep, started that session with a full tank, ended with 1/4 tank. I average like 8-9 mpg at Road Atlanta since I'm wide open throttle over half of every lap. I bring a full tank plus 10 gallons of E85 with me each weekend and I'm usually forced to switch back to pump gas on Sunday afternoon. I wish they sold E85 closer to all the tracks around here.

I'm surprised the track doesn't have it on hand. What about 100 octane, do the tracks carry that?

Most tracks will have 93 octane and at least one or two higher octane fuels. I have never seen E85 at a track pump though.

Ah, ok. It makes sense that they'd carry the higher octane stuff. People need it to drive on their track, and they'd get to charge a premium for the convenience of it. I guess a lot of people still view E85 as the eco-purist's fuel, not a valid racing fuel?

No tracks carry E85. Some NASCAR track carry E15 since that's what NASCAR runs. There's almost always race gas, pump 93 is very tough to find though. Almost always have to leave property to get it.

After reviewing all this footage I think the car will stick through 12 flat out with the right tires. I'm too scared to do it with the RE-11A's.

I made up so much time braking later than my peers into turn 10 and carrying way more speed through 10A and B that flat out through 12 didn't seem necessary
