Installed the STI battery tie down and removed the mounting base that came with the Optima battery (installed on the bottom).
Now the battery is lying down about 1-2 inch lower than factory battery. Even though the Optima battery is not lighter than factory one, it has a lower center of gravity now----I might think too much, hah. .

Not to mention I don't know how you'd deal with replicating all the little tabs and crap that are molded into the plastic for sticking pieces together... |
