Code Reader Help!

After putting 200 miles on the combo, I had some rpm drops at the stop light which almost stalled the car. By the time I got home, the check engine light and traction control light were on.

I have read some past threads on people having the same issues with stock cars. Check engine light and traction light comes on after rpm idle dive at a stop light. This problem was traced back to needing the ECU reset.

All of the aftermarket goodies were installed without thinking I would have any issues and without thinking about my warranty. I'm sick to my stomach thinking that I might have voided the warranty and don't no where to start. Do I take it to the dealer for troubleshooting, back over to Vivid, or ????
Anyone live on the northwest side of town with a code reader and an empty tank of gas??

Willing to throw $40 at you for an accurate code reading of my "check engine light" and "traction control" light problem. I need the reading before taking it all the way back over to Vivid for help.

Located off of the 101 freeway and 59th ave. Let me know if anyone is available to help a junior FRS bro out after 6pm Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.

I got one of those lovely old subaru engines that decided to have head gasket problems. I know in the last few years they have remedied this age old problem but I get to take the engine out of the legacy this weekend... I really hope this doesn't happen to the fr-s I know there have already been a few head gasket issues these head gaskets (according to a subaru tech) were the death of the baja. After looking around the Web and seeing so many people changing head gaskets on subaru that have 100k miles or less I plan to get mine checked before that warranty is gone.

Mini rant and a heads up to anyone not aware of the wide spread issues they had from the late 1990's to the mid 2000's. Safer to get a pressure test and make sure we didn't get any crap gaskets in our cars.

Help me understand please. I always thought the best place to wash my car was in my driveway of my garage if the driveway is in the sun. Many of you go to a diy car wash and I'm trying to figure out why? If you are in an apartment and don't have a good place there to wash it, it would make sense to me to go somewhere but I know Bugeyedwagon has a house & driveway, at least he did before the move. Help me understand this please.

My understanding is that the water here in AZ is not softened. I also do not own a pressure washer. Plus my driveway is not well shaded.

All of these things are correct. Even when I did live in a house I still took my car and all my handwash supplies out to the nearest wash bay. For a few bucks in quarters I get softened water AND its not being wastefully spewed all over my driveway/street.

Though you typically these places dont allow bucket/hand washing I just used to go late at night.

This looks cool. Portable water softener.

http://www.watersticks.com/p.htm

They sell one with a sprayer attached to it but doesnt look like it would be easy to handle.

Pretty sure its just some pvc with salt and other things packed in it.

Sure there is, next to the Circle K on 32nd and Chandler Boulevard. I used to wash my car there when I lived over there.
