This talks about both front a rear. You did read all of it right? Or just picked what you wanted to see?

Right is said something about bias and weight shift but suspension wasn't stock either. Anyway I had the car, did the swap, and it stopped in like half distance. I know it's not scientific but there was a reason (probably many) that the brembos were seemingly 2x as good as the stock brakes.. I did have stainless steel lines too but I had those even before I did the driveline swap.

I know you're probably exaggerating on it stopping in half the distance...
Initial bite may have been better, but the difference is probably no where near what you think it was. Maybe the difference of a few feet (in either direction).

Well a few feet can make all the difference... I know that from personal experience as well unfortunately for the guy behind me. But no they stopped wayyyy better. I am come on, leverage, larger rotational mass, more friction, yes more cooling (even short term..). Do you even physics or do you really think that just because you can lock up your tires o stock brakes that the car can do no better with bigger brakes?

Do I even physics? After you just said your car stopped in half the distance with the BBK?

Do I need to post multiple links in here for you showing BBKs taking longer distances to stop compared to an OEM setup on the same car?

Bigger brakes take LONGER to slow you down? :eyeroll:

How about you get car A with bicycle brakes and I get car B SAME CAR except it has truck brakes and we will see who stops in a shorter distance...

Because that's obviously a fair and educated and not totally ridiculous comparison...

Purposely ridiculous to make a painfully obvious point that size does matter...

All you can do with bigger brakes is lock up the tires faster that does not make you stop faster and in fact has the opposite effect.
The tires are the limiting factor here not how big the brakes are.

As I have said there is a place where bigger brakes help but one panic stop is not one of them.

Oh and the engineers at work think you are hilarious and wonder when you can come and show them what they are doing wrong all these years.

Ummm well we already went over the fact that I had larger than stock tires. And it's just IF you can lock up the tires is how soon it happens. I driven cars where the tires don't lock up until like 10 mph

You had wider tires and I conceded that point. You never answered if your tires were actually a bigger outside diameter just kept saying they were 18".

And speed has little to do with locking the brakes. I could do it at 100 on some of my pre abs cars. Again though it doesn't matter how big the brakes are once you lock them up so locking sooner is actually bad.

Yes it's bad, but a good representation of when the braking ability is exceeding that of the tires/suspension
