There was a huge thread on the debate of running a harmonic balancer including all the scientific reasons for needing one. I went with the experience of all the others on the forum that never ran into issues while running the pulleys on their other Subarus. If it blows up I'll replace it back with stock and get a new engine under warranty.

You should be fine correct? I mean what exactly does the pulley do that would make the engine blow? Isnt it just a lighter pulley and a bit smaller in diameter? I mean i saw the pics of the differences between the stock and AP pulley and didnt really see a difference

From what I heard at the dealership that had the lemon it is all based on the lawyer they have to prove that it is a serious inconvenience to you to deal with all the warranty issues. The guy that did it according to them was a pilot that just didn't have the time or patience to deal with all the waranty problems and he had the cash for a good lawyer.

Did you get new tires yet. We will have to see if LM will let US set up some cones just to do some figure 8's.
